Conflict Minerals Compliance

China finalized a revised RoHS regulation on January 6, 2016 (order No. 32, Management Methods for the Restriction of the Use of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Products), which repeals order No. 39, issued on February 28, 2006. The new order requires most electrical and electronic products sold in the China market to have two forms of declaration regarding RoHS chemical content for all products manufactured after July 1, 2016:​

1. An Environmentally Friendly Use Period label (EFUP)
2. A RoHS Table (in Chinese) to allow for determining the location of RoHS content for recycling purposes at product end-of-life.​​

While many of our products are designed to meet EU RoHS, many do so using allowable exemptions. Under the new China RoHS, such exemptions do not exist until the “Compliance Management Catalogue” is issued, thus any content above the regulatory thresholds below must be declared.

Please see the Analogic China RoHS Table for the list of part components and their respective restricted substance content for each of our main sub-component products.None of our products are expected to release these restricted chemicals in quantities or forms that would be harmful to the environment or to human health during their normal use, including extended useful life. These restricted substances are only expected to be released and could potentially be harmful to the environment or human health once the product has reached its useful life and is dismantled, disposed, or recycled.
